Tatiana URSOVA (Piano) |
Tatiana Ursova received her initial musical
training in the Donetsk Prokofiev Conservatoire
in the Ukraine. In 2000 Tanya was awarded an
entrance scholarship by the Royal Academy of Music
to pursue a postgraduate piano performance course.
Whilst studying at the Academy, Tanya won several
prizes. Following her graduation from the RAM with
a Masters degree in 2002, she was invited to join
the research team at the Academ. She is currently
pursuing a PhD in Performance Studies at Goldsmiths
College under the supervision of Professor Alexander
Ivashkin.
Among her awards received from 2000–2005 are the prestigious Musical Scholarship from the University of Ottawa (Canada), the ORS Award from the Universities UK. Tanya has performed in the UK, Sweden, Italy, France, Australia and New Zealand.
