Born in 1973 in Annecy, she studied the
harpsichord in her native city from the
age of six, and later at the Music Conservatory in
Geneva, in Christiane Jaccottet’s class. She won
first prize in virtuosism in 1992.
She continued her training at the National
Superior Conservatory of Music in Paris with Kenneth
Gilbert and Christophe Rousset and unanimously
obtained two first prizes, one for chamber music
in 1993 and the other for clavicembalo in 1994, in
addition to a prize in basso continuo in 1995.
She performs as part of European Baroque
orchestra as well as with other ensembles. At the MIDEM 1999 she was
confirmed as “the revelation of the year”. |
